I signed up for NaNoWriMo
Nov. 2nd, 2023 07:26 pmI've been trying to get back into writing after my illness and the heat knocked me on my ass. I couldn't motivate myself to take up my Forever Knight stories yet. So I, somewhat crazy pants, signed up for NaNoWriMo. I'm writing something I've always wanted to read: A m/m time-travel romance. HAHAHAHAHAH. Yes, seriously.
I doubt I'll finish it by the end of November but I'm hoping it will kickstart my writing bug again. I got 1700something words tonight. It's a good start, I guess. I'm on vacation later this month so I'll have more time then but I hope to be able to write some every day for at least an hour. ::fingers crossed:: Maybe somewhere in November, I'll return to Forever Knight.
The frustrating thing is I have most of the last two stories mapped out and about 5000 words already written on the two final stories. Not really a huge amount to finish. And yet...
Maybe I need to go back to the episodes to re-inspire myself. I don't know. I'll see how it goes.
