Down to one eye
Nov. 22nd, 2022 05:35 amOn Sunday, my cat scratched my eyeball. It was clearly my fault for taking a nap and opening my eyes without warning her since she was sitting about six inches from my face. I guess I startled her by unexpectantly opening my eyes while she was sitting there plotting my demise and she struck out and scratched my eyeball.
It's getting better but not quick enough for me. I can't drive, I can't really read and I certainly can't write. Which is a real bummer since I FINALLY was able to start the last story in my FK series.
Maybe it will be better by Wednesday and I can spend Thanksgiving writing.
Working yesterday was very interesting. The way my glasses prescription works is it's geared for me to see mostly clearly with BOTH eyes. With one eye, it's fuzzy. So, I had to take off my glasses and put the monitors about 4 inches from my face in order to work with one eye and then it was slow going.
I'm typing this with my eyes closed and then go back and correct any red underlines. LOL
