Thanksgiving and unneeded fic ideas
Nov. 19th, 2022 08:09 amI was looking at my calendar and realized that Thanksgiving is next week. It really means nothing to me except I get a few days off work.
As I was drifting off last night, I had a thought that made me giggle. A Forever Knight/Murdoch Mysteries crossover with Nick and Lacroix meeting their doppelgangers in Chief Constable Giles (Lacroix) and Arthur Conan Doyle (Nick who met Doyle in England in 1883). Both characters were in the show in 2013 (otherwise, no overlap) so it would be possible that they were both in town at the same time. Of course, it would be "vampire murders" that Murdoch was investigating and Crabtree would be the first to put forth the theory of a 'vampire'. An idea I absolutely do not need in my head, I have enough unfinished things.
I told myself that, if I can keep it short and finish two other stories, I can write it. Maybe the urge will pass by the time that happens.
I realized Slings and Arrows is on Amazon for streaming (on Acorn that I have through Amazon). Another one to watch again but I don't want to watch it while working so it will be slower since I actually want to watch it and not just listen.
